Meltdown is a Soviet Villain from 1983. Encountered by the team in Issue 08.

Regula knows from her father that he was originally Ivan Komarov, a nuclear technician caught in a terrible accident, and driven mad by the apparent death of his wife and daughter.

He was attempting to drain the energy from the SolarMax mission in Halycon City, encountered The Exemplars, and caused a small nuclear catastrophe in the bay when he was defeated by the team and pulled into the present day.
