Issue 12

Space

The gang are heading into space on go see Reggie, Princess Regula of Ximbor, jamming out to Danny's playlist. Upon Cal Jericho's urging that Earth is a little hot right now from the events of Issue 10 and 11 the whole group is aboard. Pandora and Danny are in the front, Lloyd, Kara are in the back along with Jen spread out in the middle seat.

Out in Deep Space they begin to suffer a little space turbulence, that gradually worsens until spacetime itself is starting to rip apart. <SPATIAL ANOMOLY DETECTED> flashes the screen in Regulan. Regula quickly scans the area and as the space around them gets increasingly distorted she realises the only way to survive is to head directly into the calm at the heart of one of the anomalies. As they fall down into the rift Kara sees everyone in double as if they're being torn apart and combined with another spectral version of themselves.

The Coda

Kara bluffs to the Worldkiller Robots that they were sent by Princess Regula. They agree to contact Regula, while Lloyd charges his eye lasers.

As a side note. The Worldkillers are big fans of 'Ctrl Alt Right' a Cyborg Right wing youtuber.

ART-576 conveys that a 'pretty sick looking shark' and 2 others have arrived on the ship. She recognises some of her friends from some video footage and has them brought to meet her as 'additional dignitaries'.

At The Stasis Vaults

Together again. The vault door opens to show a huge facility full of thousands of the status pods, presumably more than a single worlds worth of heroes seemingly frozen in space and time. Regula dismissed ART-576 and when he is gone gives a massive hug to the whole gang, excited to be reunited. Flare reaches out with her powers to create some confusions and disturbance around them to prevent listening in. Kara is also very glad to be back together. Regula proposes freeing all of the trapped heroes, Jen proposes that Danny disguise Regula first, as the imprisoned might not be big fans of her at the moment.

Dredful returns before they can make a decision, offering the decapitated head of Mary Rose, her will has been done and she is dead. And he announces that his father, Regula's fiancé has returned. Lord Ominus.
