Danny trying to drain demonic energy from Kara

HAUS

Kara has been having a recurring nightmare since the encounter in Issue 06 with a Fire Demon being exorcized from a young girl on the beach. She sees a nightmareish hellscape of the destroyed HAUS. The red flitting shape of It scurries through the ruined building of Halcyon City and whispers to her 'You have no idea how powerful you are... my little verse'.

She awakens with a start. So far she's been keeping it all in, and Rayne hasn't noticed anything amiss. As Kara gathers herself Rayne's headphones come unplugged and her computer bursts out with a strange advert featuring an old timey stage magician -

"Are you troubled by strange noises in the middle of the night?

Do you experience feelings of dread in your basement or attic?

Have you or any of your family ever seen a spook, spectre or ghost?

Are you dreaming of demons and worlds ending?

Kara goes to take a walk.

Exemplar Tower

Meanwhile Regula is on her way to the Exemplar tower, her mother has arranged a visit to the Young Exemplars. She's met by Garrapena on the roof.
