The Young Exemplars

Background

A team made up of powerful heroes, particularly those too young to join the Exemplars proper - some have family connections like Mr Mercury whose father died as an Exemplar, while others are sidekicks of Exemplars like Garapenna, who is the protege of Dusk

The group operate with a large budget out of a tower in Halcyon City.

Membership

Goliath, aka Ken Kim, a Korean boy cursed with a monstrous form and huge strength and resilience.

Riptide, aka Primus Xevv, Heir of the undersea Empire of Lanatea, seemingly the only of their kind capable of travelling to the surface world. Powers of shapeshifting and density control.

Broadhead aka Arash 'Arry' Madani, an incredible athlete and archer, unpowered.

Mr Mercury, aka Max Mercari the 3rd Speedster in the Mercury family - his grandmother Miss Mercury (now retired) was a hero in the Golden Age, and his father, the original Mr Mercury died as an Exemplar.

Garrapena, protege of Dusk, the Exemplar's spooky joint leader. He's the youngest of the team, but also the most experienced. No powers, but highly skilled detective with a lot of gadgets.

So Far

The team (Nihil, Claymore and Flare) met Goliath and Riptide at the house party in Issue 03. They assisted in seeing off Huntress and Farlander. Riptide invited them to come visit the tower.
